Money are here next to the materials and items very important element. Maybe in the beginning it looks like a tool for making players do something (travelling or establishing a town) in advanced phase of the game can money be a tool for luxurious and easy life. How to accomplish that ?
Let's say alchemist Albert will have dozens of regeneration potions so he will create a shop and tell others about it. Everbody interested will teleport into his town and buy potions from him. Now Albert has a full bag of money and he can spent them elsewhere, fot example for some materials so he don't need to go explore dungeons he hate :)
Where the money goes from ? Usual way is from Prime Shops - shops maintained by server. Other way can be obtaining money by completing quests...
