They come from the End Dimension

January the 2nd an Ender Dragon hunt will be held.

Prepare your bows and arrows, a hard fight against the others is waiting on us... The sky will turn black and an unending night will fall when the dragon arrives. The sun will rise once again after we kill the beast. The world will also be flooded with Endermans...

You still have a hidden trick against the dragon... Magic ;)

Walkthrough:

Try to ignore the Endermans
Destroy the 8 orbs on the obelisks - use the"Feather of Fly" spell.
Kill the dragon(s)!

Pro-tip:

Visit the Bone Swamp dungeon in order to collect some arrows. But stay aware, there is a lot of Skeletons that won't hessitate to shoot their arrows ;)

A lot of experience orbs

It's over...

7 players participated. The first Ender Dragon was killed in 20 minutes and the second one in Th End dimension got killed by the heroes F4lco and phoenix_52 for approximately an hour. They both went home with a dragon egg as a reward for their actions.
